Job Overview

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, making note of any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Serve meals and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring accuracy in presentation and order fulfillment.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests for additional items or services.
• Check-in with guests periodically to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate timing and ensure efficient service.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing tables, resetting them for the next guests, and assisting with general cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.
• Work as part of a team to provide exceptional service and contribute to a positive dining atmosphere.

Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with guests and team members.
• Strong multitasking abilities to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking, delivery, and payment processing.
• Knowledge of French and Italian cuisines, including ingredients, menu items, preparation methods, and any special dietary considerations.
• Professional appearance and demeanor to uphold the restaurant's standards of service.
• Strong knowledge of French and Italian wines.
• Knowledge of Fine Dining Standards: including but not limited to proper table settings, service sequences, handling of utensils, and tableside preparations.
