Technical Support Analyst (Ohio)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Analyst to join their dynamic IT team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support for various hardware and software systems, ensuring seamless operation across the organization. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues, troubleshooting and resolving them efficiently or escalating when necessary. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining their technology infrastructure and supporting their end-users.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Monitor various systems, identify issues, and troubleshoot them, escalating when needed.
  • Document all issues and resolutions within the ticketing system for future reference and analysis.
  • Support and maintain Windows, Chrome, and Android OS environments.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain HP printers, ensuring they are operational at all times.
  • Be on call once per quarter after the training period to provide support during off-hours.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve and streamline support processes.

 

Required Skills:

 

  • 3+ years of technical and application support experience, ideally in a “Jack of all Trades” capacity.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting a variety of hardware devices and software applications.
  • Proficiency in monitoring different systems, troubleshooting issues, and escalating as necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows, Chrome, and Android OS.
  • Familiarity with HP Printer troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Skilled in documenting issues within a ticketing system for effective resolution tracking.
  • Willingness and ability to be on call after the training period (once per quarter).

 

Desired Skills:

 

  • Experience in the retail industry, specifically in troubleshooting store technology issues.
  • Exposure to Bomgar Remote Console or similar remote support tools.
  • IT certifications such as A+ or Net+ are highly desirable.
