DeliverIt Pharmacy is searching for candidates for the position of Part-time or Full-Time Staff Pharmacist for our Bedford location.

Education:

• Either a Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy are required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications according to the prescription from doctors, etc.
• Maintain a current knowledge of all medications.
• Maintain a current knowledge of pharmacy legal issues.
• Communicate with pharmacy staff and the PIC about matters concerning drug usage, drug interactions, and refunds.
• Sell non-prescription drugs according to company policy and multi-state board of pharmacy regulations.
• Operate the cash register and other cash handling devices as needed.
• Help perform drug testing.

Experience and Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in the retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in medication therapy management (MTM) is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in vaccinations is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in third-party rejections preferred.
• Staff pharmacist experience is preferred.
• Immunization certification is required.
• Exceptional communication skills are required.
• Experience with PioneerRx and/or MatchRx computer software is preferred.

Proficiency in any of the following languages is encouraged, but not required:

Spanish

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week

• Texas Pharmacy Board certification (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Bedford, TX 76021: Relocate before starting work (Required)
