American Leak Detection – Plumbing Repair Technician Santa Clara County, Monterey County, Santa Cruz County, San Benito County Base Salary

• Starting ($30-$40hrly)

Job Type Full-time/Year Round Position includes:

• Mechanically inclined, experience with power tools
• Comfortable with learning and using new technology
• Enjoy working outside, in a variety of conditions, and not sitting in a cube or office every day
• Appreciate working a flexible schedule, night shifts or weekends as our customer might need
• Enjoy, and be able, to perform intermittent, sometimes heavy, physical labor

In the job you’ll be asked to do:

• Perform full scope plumbing repairs. This includes but is not limited to; spot repairs on slabs & service lines, repipes, above and below ground repairs, manifold rebuilds, pools
• Communicate with management, colleagues, and customers
• Provides professional courteous customer service
• Work outdoors & away from the office
• Master underground leak locating equipment

Desired Qualifications

• Enjoy being in a job that rewards intuitive, hardworking, fast, efficient, people who have no problem wearing uniform, and with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in patch back of a variety of pool deck surfaces including exposed aggregate and kool deck
• Any plumbing, mechanical, pool experience and construction background is required
• Exceptional team player; fun, energetic, goal oriented, positive, optimistic, and great attitude!
• Current Driver’s License, with relatively clean driving record
• Ability to create well written and concise reports to effectively describe the leak issue or repair
• Self-motivated, enjoy working independently, self-starter, organized, and enjoys being self-directed
• Ability to swim, (diving certificate a plus)
• Neat appearance / Has a high standard of professionalism and character
• Mechanically inclined, knows how to use a variety of tools
• Ability to take on physical work and capable of moving/lifting up to 100 pounds
