Pediatric Location Director - RN (Registered Nurse)

We are seeking an experienced pediatric registered nurse with management experience to fill the Director position at Aveanna Healthcare’s Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) Center in Harrisburg, PA. The Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the PPEC Center, including oversight of the clinical program. The Director will provide guidance and supervision to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Earning Potential: Starting at $75,000.00+

Essential Job Functions

  • Interview and hire competent staff, focusing on recruiting the best-qualified candidates
  • Staff development, including orientation, in-service education, and continuing education
  • Evaluate each employee annually and establish goals for the upcoming year
  • Ensure appropriate staff supervision during all service hours
  • Develop a marketing plan to grow the PPEC census
  • Implement company policies
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Manager to oversee the clinical program, ensuring each patient has current orders for treatments and interventions, verifying care is delivered according to physician orders, and coordinating care with parents, physicians, and other care team members
  • Organize, plan, and delegate responsibilities effectively

Requirements

  • Pediatric Nursing experience
  • CPR Certified
  • PA RN License
  • Criminal Background Check
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferences

  • Five years of related pediatric healthcare experience
  • Home health management experience preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred
